Electrical Installation Condition Reporting

Electrical installations are subject to periodic testing and inspection in accordance with the current edition of BS7671:2018 and the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 (sometimes called “Electricity at Work Act”).

Parts of electrical installations subject to heavy use deteriorate over time and unfortunately often subject to alterations and additions by enthusiastic amateurs who may not have carried them out correctly.

For these and other reasons it is important to ensure inspection and testing is kept up to date in accordance with the above regulations to maintain electrical safety in the workplace and the home.
