We carried out the electrical installations for two concurrent projects at this large medical testing facility for the principal contractor Kinetic Workspace Design in 2014 and 2015. The first project was the mains and sub-mains distribution upgrade comprising an increased 800A TPN incoming supply, two main bespoke control panels for essential and non-essential supplies. These were backed up by two 500A TPN auto-start generators that were interlinked via a bus coupler in the main panel. The electrical design strategy was compiled by an independent consultancy and the panels and generator were supplied and installed by us. The panels were fabricated by Eaton MEM. The second project was the internal office extension and laboratory fit out. This project was a technical and logistical challenge and was very rewarding to work on.
